Work Evaluation

The team evaluates the participant's on-the-job behaviors and physical capabilities either at the Tommy Nobis Center or in a community-based setting. The participant performs actual work on a variety of tasks to determine work stamina, vocational interests and aptitudes, ability to get along with coworkers and supervisors, and motivation to work.

After the work evaluation is completed, the program participant meets with a counselor and the Tommy Nobis Center Program Manager.  Based on the results of the work evaluation, recommendations are made for future services to help the participant become job ready.
